We want you to absolutely love your Glint & Gold pieces. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

Returns & Exchanges

You’re welcome to return or exchange any full‑priced item for:

• A full refund
• A different size
• A different colour

Original shipping costs are not refundable.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Sale items are not eligible for exchange or refund unless faulty.

You have 10 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

Earrings

For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged - no exceptions.

Faulty Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us right away.
If we’re unable to repair or replace the item, we’ll happily provide a refund.

Return Requirements

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

• Unworn and unused
• In its original packaging
• With all tags attached
• Accompanied by proof of purchase

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

To start a return, email us at info@glintandgold.co.nz. Once your return is approved, we’ll send you the instructions and return address.

Damages & Issues

Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can make it right.

Non‑Returnable Items

We’re unable to accept returns on:

• Earrings (hygiene reasons)
• Sale items (unless faulty)
• Gift cards

Original shipping costs are not refundable.

Exchanges

The quickest way to get the item you want is to return your original purchase. Once your return is accepted, you can place a new order for the replacement item.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know if your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note: your bank or card provider may take additional time to process the refund.

We ship our items from Auckland, New Zealand and offer free shipping to New Zealand customers on orders of $120 and over.  

A flat shipping rate of AUD9.99 per order applies for our Australia customers.

Each piece is carefully inspected to make sure it is in perfect condition prior to shipping.

Should your item be damaged during shipping please inform us immediately and we will look to remedy the situation for you.

At Glint & Gold, we only offer high‑quality hypoallergenic stainless steel and 925 sterling silver for our pieces. Our 18k gold plating is electroplated for extra durability, shine, and long‑lasting wear.

Caring for Your Jewellery

Plated jewellery deserves a little extra love. Over time, natural wear, exposure to moisture, and everyday elements may cause fading or oxidation. This is a normal part of the jewellery’s life cycle and not considered a manufacturing fault.

To keep your pieces looking their best:

• Gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, dry cloth after each wear
• Avoid over‑polishing or rubbing too hard, as this may remove the plating
• Store your jewellery in a dry, airtight container or pouch when not in use
• Remove jewellery before sleeping, showering, swimming, or exercising
• Apply perfume, lotions, and makeup first, then put your jewellery on last

With the right care, your Glint & Gold pieces will stay beautiful wear after wear.
