What is your returns policy?

We want you to absolutely love your Glint & Gold pieces. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.
Returns & Exchanges
You’re welcome to return or exchange any full‑priced item for:
- A full refund
- A different size
- A different colour
You have 10 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
Earrings
For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged — no exceptions.
Faulty Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us right away.
If we’re unable to repair or replace the item, we’ll happily provide a refund.
Return Requirements
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unworn and unused
- In its original packaging
- With all tags attached
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
To start a return, email us at info@glintandgold.co.nz. Once your return is approved, we’ll send you the instructions and return address.
Damages & Issues
Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can make it right.
Non‑Returnable Items
We’re unable to accept returns on:
- Earrings (hygiene reasons)
- Sale items
- Gift cards
Exchanges
The quickest way to get the item you want is to return your original purchase. Once your return is accepted, you can place a new order for the replacement item.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know if your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note: your bank or card provider may take additional time to process the refund.

What is your jewellery made of?
At Glint & Gold, we only offer high‑quality hypoallergenic stainless steel and 925 sterling silver for our pieces. Our 18k gold plating is electroplated for extra durability, shine, and long‑lasting wear.
What is the warranty on your jewellery?
All our jewellery comes with a 6 month warranty. If you experience any manufacturing faults within this period, we’ll repair or replace the item for you. Just get in touch with your order details and we’ll take care of the rest.
What is Covered: Manufacturing defects, such as faulty clasps, weak solder joints, missing stones (if applicable).
What is Excluded: Normal wear and tear, including the natural fading or tarnishing of the gold layer, scratching, and chains snapping after continuous wear.
How do I care for my jewellery?
To keep your pieces looking their best, we recommend avoiding direct contact with perfumes, lotions, water and harsh chemicals. Store jewellery in a dry place when not in use.
Can I wear my jewellery in water?
Our pieces are made from waterproof, high‑quality, tarnish‑free stainless steel, but to keep them looking their absolute best, we still recommend removing your jewellery before swimming, showering or exercising. A little extra care helps preserve that gorgeous finish for as long as possible.
Can I return earrings?
Due to hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned unless faulty.
How long does delivery take within New Zealand?
Orders are dispatched within 2 business days from Auckland, New Zealand. Delivery times vary depending on your location within New Zealand, with many customers receiving their order within 2 days of dispatch.
Do you offer International Shipping?
Yes, we offer international shipping to Australia for a flat rate of $9.99. We can also ship to selected other countries. Simply complete the enquiry form and we’ll confirm the shipping cost for your location.

Yes, comfort and wearability are important to us. We focus on pieces that feel secure, easy to wear and practical for everyday styling.
