Jewellery Care

We only offer jewellery that is electroplated 18k gold onto high quality brass, stainless steel and 925 sterling silver.

Extra care is required with plated jewellery and fading or oxidation can occur over time due to wear and tear and exposure to the elements.  This is not considered a manufacturing defect, but rather the nature of the jewellery.

Gently clean your jewellery with a dry cloth after each use.

Do not over polish or rub hard as you may remove the plating

Store your jewellery in a dry, sealed airtight container or bag when not in use.

Remove jewellery before bedtime, showering, swimming, exercising.

Apply make-up, perfume, lotions prior to wearing your jewellery

 

Returns and Exchanges

We want you to love your Glint & Gold purchase, so you may exchange full priced items for a different size or colour.  You may also exchange for a different style of equal or higher value.  We have a 10 day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Due to hygiene reasons, we are not able to offer exchanges or refunds on earrings.

We will only provide a refund if the item is faulty and we are not able to replace it or remedy the situation for you.       

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 
       
Return shipping costs are to be covered by the customer. 

If your return is accepted, we will provide you with instructions on where to send your package.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Due to hygiene reasons, we are not able to offer refunds on earrings - no exceptions.  

Unfortunately, we also cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

In the event that your item is faulty and we are unable to provide a solution, once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.  Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.  If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at  info@glintandgold.co.nz.  

Shipping and Handling

We only ship to New Zealand customers and offer a flat shipping rate of NZD9.99 per order.

Each piece is carefully inspected to make sure it is in perfect condition prior to shipping.

Should your item be damaged during shipping please inform us immediately and we will look to remedy the situation for you.
